摘要 PURPOSE: A satellite antenna tracking speed improvement method is provided to track the satellite antenna when the received signal is discontinuous. CONSTITUTION: The satellite antenna tracking speed improvement method includes the steps of receiving(S1) the information for the image signal and the luminous intensity of the navigating car, determining(S2) whether the received image signal exceeds the predefined signal level, increasing the signal level by rotating the antenna when the received image signal is under the predefined signal level, saving the antenna position(S4) when the received image signal exceeds the predefined signal level, determining(S5) the operation state of an automatic lighting system and the light state of tail light and whether the absolute value of the difference between the current luminous intensity and the stored luminous intensity is large than the predefined value, fixing the antenna position and storing the antenna position value(S6) when one of step S5 is true, maintaining the antenna position(S8) with the previously fixed value when the absolute value is under the predefined value, and changing the tracking mode where the antenna position is rotatable according to the image signal and the luminous intensity information when the absolute value exceeds the predefined value(S7). The satellite antenna tracking apparatus comprises a tail lamp, an antenna position sensor, a luminous intensity sensor, a steering angle sensor, an image signal receiver, a central processing unit, and an antenna driving motor.
