PURPOSE: An automatic transmission hold controlling device is controlled on a hold mode by being controlled on an automatic selection mode according to the running state of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Whether a slip according to the speed of a vehicle is generated or not is decided on the start or running of the vehicle. Then, a hold mode signal is outputted after a program logic calculation of signal inputted from a current transmission gear. The transmission is run by a hold driving by being turned on/off according to the hold mode signal. Thus, the conveniency of a driver and the efficiency of a transmission are improved.
