PURPOSE: An automatic article incoming/outgoing control device and a method thereof are provided to automatically transmit an output state upon the outgoing of articles from incoming and outgoing boxes. CONSTITUTION: An automatic article incoming/outgoing control device comprises: a box unit(140) consisting of plural boxes; an article sensing instrument(150) sensing articles inside the box; a recognition card sensing instrument(120) outputting a sensing signal; a data input instrument(130) receiving passwords and specific data; a controlling instrument(110) emitting an input state signal from the article sensing instrument and receiving a sensing signal from the recognition card sensing instrument(120) upon output then opening a corresponding box in case the secret number is matched to the response with transmitting to a host computer(200) and transmitting an output state signal to the host computer; a display instrument(160) displaying the data to the outside, by being controlled by the controlling instrument.
