PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to improve the performance of a noise filter unit and to lengthen the life of the noise filter unit by effectively cooling the noise filter unit. CONSTITUTION: A cooling fan(20) for sucking external air and blowing the air into a component chamber is installed on the rear face of the component chamber. The cooling fan includes a cooling fan casing(21) surrounding air inflow holes on the rear face of the component chamber, cooling fan blades(23) installed in the cooling fan casing and a fan motor(25) rotating the cooling fan blades. In the cooling fan casing, a fan receiving unit(27) is formed to receive the cooling fan blades and the fan motor. On the inside upper wall of the fan receiving unit, a filter mounting unit(30) for mounting a noise filter unit(40) is radially and outwardly formed. The filter mounting unit is preferably prepared ahead of the cooling fan blades. when starting a microwave oven, the fan motor rotates the cooling fan blades. With the rotation of the cooling fan blades, external air is sucked through the air inflow holes and is blown into the component chamber. The wind blown from the cooling fan blades cools the noise filter unit. Therefore, the noise filter unit is cooled effectively.
