PURPOSE: A method for displaying electric charging and discharging state of a battery loaded in a mobile station is provided to accurately recognize exchanging time and charging time of the battery by displaying available time and charging state of the battery with letters in detail. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station activates telecommunication terminals for performing communications with a current flow counter of a battery, sets up the residual battery amount as a reference value with setting up reference value setting time as reference time(301). The mobile station receives charged current flow, discharged current flow, charging time, discharging time of a cell and error compensated value detected by the current flow counter for temporarily storing in a memory, and calculates elapsed time until the charging time or the discharging time for temporarily storing in the memory(302). The mobile station confirms whether the charged current flow is more than the discharged current flow(303). If the charged current flow is more than the discharged current flow, the average charging rate of the cell per unit time and the current residual battery amount are calculated(304). The mobile station calculates time for completing charging(305), displays the calculated charging completed time as letters in a liquid crystal screen(306). If the discharged current flow is more than the charged current flow, the mobile station calculates the average discharging rate in standby state of the cell and the average discharging rate in call sate(307). The mobile station calculates standby-possible time from now on(308), and calculates call-possible time(309). The mobile station displays standby-possible time and call-possible time in the liquid crystal screen(310).
