PURPOSE: A roll housing liner of a rolling mill is provided to prevent the generation of gap even when a rolling load is applied to the roll housing by forming liners of the roll housing with different thickness in the center part and upper and lower end parts in a taper structure, thereby restraining the movement of chokes. CONSTITUTION: A roll housing liner of a rolling mill includes taper liners(8) attached to an inner wall of a roll housing without any space at a rolling subject inlet part, wherein upper taper liners have a thick upper part and a thin lower part, and lower taper liners have a thin upper part and a thick lower part, so that the taper liners become bent as a rolling load is applied and a space among the taper liners, a working roll choke and a backup roll choke is maintained uniformly without any generation of gap.
