DEVICE FOR REMOVING FINE STEEL PARTICULATES FROM SURFACE OF STEEL SHEET BY HIGH MAGNETIC FIELD

PURPOSE: A device for removing fine steel particulates from the surface of a steel sheet by a high magnetic field is provided to remove particles of the fine steel group by applying a strong magnetic field to a target position after focusing the magnetic field to high permeability magnetic material. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing fine steel particulates from the surface of a steel sheet by a high magnetic field includes a shaft(10) receiving driving force, a plurality of drums(20), a disk type holder(30), a non-magnetic rotating drum(40), a driving motor(50), a collector(60) and a cylinder(70). The drums and the disk type holder are mounted on the shaft and have the same size. The holder has permanent magnets and metallic sections disposed between the magnets. The rotating drum surrounds the outside of the holder and rotates around the holder independently from the drums. The driving motor is mounted at a side of the rotating drum through a sprocket. The collector is mounted at a lower portion of the rotating drum for collecting particles of fine steel particulates separated from the steel sheet by the magnetic field. The cylinder moves back and forth on the basis of the surface of the steel sheet.
