PURPOSE: A method for preparing solvent type acrylic adhesive is provided for narrowing distribution area of molecular weight and reducing drying time when manufacturing adhesive sheet product by using methylacetate having low boiling point as reaction solvent, instead of ethylacetate or benzole. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing solvent type acrylic adhesive for narrowing distribution area of molecular weight and reducing drying time when manufacturing adhesive sheet comprises preparing a reaction material composed of 500 weight parts of vinyl monomer containing acrylic alkylester and 300-500 weight parts of a reaction solvent including, as a primary component, methyl acetate; adding 1-5 wt.% of metal alcholate or metal chelate compounds and 0.1-0.5 wt.% of benzoyl peroxide; and carrying out thermal polymerization for the resultant mixture.
