PURPOSE: A wear preventing device for a connecting rod and a piston pin of a closed compressor is provided to restrain a connecting rod rotating in a non-lubricated state and a piston pin inserted to the connecting rod from wear by remaining oil to the contacting faces of the connecting rod and the piston pin. CONSTITUTION: A closed compressor has a cylinder, a piston, a connecting rod(90), and a piston pin(110) for connecting the connecting rod with the piston. An oil remaining part is prepared by forming grooves(200) in the contacting faces of the piston pin and the connecting rod. Oil remains in the oil remaining part, and the contacting faces of the piston pin and the connecting rod are smoothly lubricated with the remaining oil. Therefore, wear of the contacting faces is prevented.
