Use of an elicitin-lipid complex for the protection of plants against pathogens

Use of an elicitin-lipid complex in the protection of plants against pathogenic agents is new. The lipid used in the complex may be a steroid, a fatty acid, or a phospholipid, the use of sterols being preferred. The elicitin used is preferably capsicein, parasiticein, cryptogein, cinnamomin, or a new acid elicitin, oligandrin, the sequence of which is given in full.
