PURPOSE: Provided is an over-jacketing tube sintering system in the process of optical fiber prefoam by sol-gel process which lowers the height of a sintering tower so that it is convenient in keeping exactness. CONSTITUTION: The over-jacketing tube sintering system(170) in the process of optical fiber prefoam by sol-gel process comprises the parts of: a process tube(110) which is made from quartz; a gel tube assembly which is comprised of a top rotation cap(130) to seal a process tube with being rotated at the fixed rate, a ceramic pin(131) to be extended downwardly from the center axis of the upper rotation cap and a gel tube(100) to be played as a driving axis in the process tube; and a movable furnace which is placed in the lower part of the process tube and moved along the process tube to heat-treat the gel tube.
