<p>Work support apparatus comprises a support surface 12 for a workpiece to rest upon, base means 14 for engaging a surface beneath the work support, and a securing surface 16 extending transversely to the support surface. Securing means are provided for securing the workpiece, which comprises a wedge 20 or clamp means (120, fig 4). Preferably the base means includes two feet that engage a ground surface, which may be profiled, or clad with rubber. Cavities 24 may be provided in the apparatus of various dimensions so as to receive tools or fixing materials. The workpiece supported may be a door (see fig 2), window, or display board (see fig 6).</p> |
