PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring tension of hot plated steel sheet is provided to accurately measure tension change rate according to the off-set without causing damage of the surface of the hot plated steel sheet, thereby improving the quality of the surface of the hot plated steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring tension of hot plated steel sheet includes a roll(10) having urethane-processed surface, a spring(9) generating regular elastic deformation according to the off-set of an outlet and moving quantity of an inlet corresponding to contact degree related to the steel sheet of the roll, and display scales(11a,11b) measuring the off-set of the outlet and moving quantity of the inlet.
