PURPOSE: An apparatus for selecting a telecommuting mode of a shop-style security system is provided to prevent an invasion sensing failure by converting the shop-style security system into a house-style security system. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for selecting a telecommuting mode of a shop-style security system comprises a first sensing part(36), a second sensing part(40), a telecommuting mode selection part(38), a control part(34), and a central control center(30). The first sensing part performs an inner loop defense by using at least one sensor having an outgoing mode function. The second sensing part performs an outer loop defense by using many sensors having a telecommuting mode function. Telecommuting mode selection part divides a set mode action of the shop-style security system into an outgoing mode action and a telecommuting mode action. The control part controls the actions of the first sensing part and the second sensing part according to a set mode state from the telecommuting mode selection part, and performs a corresponding set mode action. The central control center monitors an action mode per subscriber according to the input of an invasion alarm.
