PURPOSE: A material of a driver bit manufactured by powder metallurgy is provided to solve problems of abrasion of the head part of an existing driver bit and increase tool life by fundamentally changing a material of the driver bit in a powder metallurgy method. CONSTITUTION: The material of a driver bit is manufactured by using tungsten carbide alloy comprising 60 to 98 wt.% of WC as a material of the head part of the driver bit in a powder metallurgy method. The method for manufacturing the material of a driver bit comprises the processes of separately preparing head parts and body parts; assembling the head and body parts in a cathode and anode type using a brazing material; forming in a mechanically assembled form; fusing silver-lead (Ag-Cu) to a temperature of 500 to 1000 deg.C so that silver-lead in a liquid phase is penetrated between the head part and the body part; and treating the surface of the magnetized tool after magnetizing the resulting tool, wherein the manufactured tool can be used as a cross screw driver.
