PURPOSE: A power knob device is simple in structure, reduces manufacturing cost by removing heat fusion process and simply changing the form of a tension rib. CONSTITUTION: A power knob device includes a cabinet, a power knob and a printed circuit board. The cabinet has a penetrating hole for the power knob to be installed and a control device formed on the periphery of the penetrating hole to control the location and the movement of the power knob and guide. The power knob is engaged with the cabinet without separate heat fusion. The printed circuit board is installed to the power knob and has a tact switch for the operation of the power knob and a luminous indicating element. The power knob comprises a guide support rib(310), a location determining groove(320), a tension rib(330), more than one gap maintaining ribs(340) and a tact rib(350). The guide support rib(310) controls fixed depth of the power knot engaged with the penetrating hole of the cabinet. The location determining groove(320) is formed to be engaged with a location determining rib of the cabinet. The tension rib(330) executes tension function when the cabinet operates. The gap maintaining ribs(340) are protrusively formed on the tension rib(330) to maintain fixed gap with the printed circuit board. The tact rib(350) contacts with the tact switch of the printed circuit board to execute power impression function.
