PURPOSE: An apparatus for compensating a convergence error of deflection yoke for a cathode ray tube is provided to improve a characteristic of a convergence by compensating the convergence error of the deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for compensating a convergence error of deflection yoke for a cathode ray tube includes the first through fourth compensating parts(10,20,30,40). The first compensating part(10) includes a diode(D5), a cathode of which is connected in serial to a resistor(903) and a coil(102). The second compensating part(20) includes two resistors(103,104) which are connected with each other, and a diode(D6) which has an anode which is connected to the connecting node of the two resistor(103,104) and a cathode which is connected with coils(103,104). The third compensating part(30) includes a diode(D7) of which an anode is connected with a resistor(904) and coils(105,106). And, the fourth compensating part(40) includes coils(107,108) which are connected between an anode of a diode(D8) and resistors(905,906).
