PURPOSE: A seal pattern forming method of LCD and seal pattern thereof prevent the invasion of a cleaning solution and an etching solution flowing into a main seal line effectively, and facilitate the flow of an air existing within the respective seal lines. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of seal lines(250) are formed on a substrate(1). The seal line(250) comprises a main seal line(210) through which a liquid crystal is injected actually, the first auxiliary seal line(220) for wrapping the main seal line(210) and the second auxiliary seal line(230), spaced apart from the edge of the substrate(1) and wrapping the first auxiliary seal line(220). At least, one more apertures(T) are formed in the first auxiliary seal line(220) and the second auxiliary seal line(230). The third auxiliary seal line(240) formed between the first auxiliary seal line(220) and the second auxiliary seal line(230) near the both sides of the aperture(T) discharges a compressed air outwards during the assembling of the substrate(1). The branched structure of the third auxiliary seal line(240) prevents the flow of a cleaning solution and an etching solution.
