PURPOSE: A main processor unit of a remote optical line testing system is provided to obtain the remote optical line testing system at a low price by obtaining functions performed by a desk top computer in one unit shape. CONSTITUTION: A main processor unit of a remote optical line testing system includes a main memory(202), a PCI bus, a CPU(204) performing a sequence loaded in the main memory for controlling a device through the PCI bus, a video IC(208) connected through the PCI bus for providing a high-dimensional video, a video ram(210) connected with the video IC for storing video data, a monitor(206) providing a predetermined picture according to the control of the video IC, an ISA bus, a bus conversion part(214) connecting the PCI bus with the ISA bus and providing serial bus for a user, serial communication chips(216,218) connected with the ISA bus for providing serial communication ports, an Ethernet communication element connected with the PCI bus for providing function of communicating with the Ethernet, and an X.25 communication part(224) connected with the PCI bus for providing communication function according to X.25 communication protocol.
