PURPOSE: A mobile terminal for controlling a telephone function using an earphone is provided to control the calling function of a mobile terminal using an earphone connected to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal for controlling a telephone function using an earphone is comprised of a terminal main unit(200), a keypad(111), a mike(112) and a speaker(113). The keypad(111) inputs a telephone number to the main unit(200) and controls the function of transmitting and receiving a telephone call. The mike(112) transfers a user's voice to a voice input part of the main unit(200). The speaker(113) outputs the other side's voice to the user. The keypad(111) is composed of a single button. The input of the other side's phone number and the function of making and receiving a telephone call are controlled by the adjustment of the time interval and frequency number of pushing the button.
