The dynamic stabilization device has a calculation unit (7) for determining the required automatic braking of the trailer of the tractor-trailer combination, in dependence on the slew velocity of the tractor and its required slew velocity, or in dependence on the slew velocity of the tractor, the velocity of the tractor-trailer combination and the steering angle. An Independent claim for a dynamic stabilization device for a vehicle tractor-trailer combination is also included.
