POLYMERIZATION AND CO-POLYMERIZATION METHOD OF PROPYLENE

PURPOSE: A method of polymerization and co-polymerization of propylene is provided, which can control both strength and elasticity of the polymer. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises polymerizing and co-polymerizing propylene, in a pressure reactor, with catalysts such as magnesium supported titanium solid complex, organic metal compound of I or III group metals, two kinds of external electron donner compounds like unsaturated nitrogen compound and organic silyl compound independently for the stereo-block and the isotactic polypropylene. Both of the electron donners of different mixing ratio are added into the reactor at the same time or one donner is added and the other is added later. The method is characterized in that stereo-block polypropylene and isotactic polypropylene are micro blended in the reactor so that the co-polymer has excellent dispersion and both strength and elasticity.
