PURPOSE: An apparatus and method is provided to offer a UPT service on the traditional PSTN and on Internet network interworked environment. CONSTITUTION: An Internet UPT service client transmits a service requesting from the connected member and a position of the member to a server. An Internet UPT service control server performs a service requested by the UPT service client and performs a total UPT service control. An Internet UPT member information storing unit stores member's information and the current position of the Internet UPT service client. The position of the member is stored in an Internet UPT service client functional block.
