MOTION DETECTOR

PURPOSE: A motion detector is provided to be actively adapted to a quick motion in a picture by accumulating previous motion information to judge the motion value and judging a motion value of color information to determine the motion value. CONSTITUTION: A frame memory(30) stores inputted image information according to a frame. An inter-frame discriminator(31) receives image information stored in the frame memory(30) and inputted image information and discriminates a motion using a picture difference between frames. An accumulator(32) accumulates motion information of the inter-frame discriminator(31). An accumulating motion memory(33) stores accumulated motion information. An attenuator(34) attenuates motion information stored in the accumulating motion memory(33) for preventing an unlimited accumulation of motion information. A motion discriminator(35) compares accumulation motion information with inter-frame motion information and determines last motion information.
