摘要 |
PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display is to prevent shorting between adjacent pads when connecting an external driver integrated circuit with a data pad or a gate pad. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(20) including a gate electrode is formed on an insulating substrate in a horizontal direction. A gate pad(22) is connected to the gate line. A data line including a source electrode and a drain electrode apart from the source electrode is formed in a vertical direction. The data line crosses the gate line with an insulating layer interposed between the gate line and the data line. A data pad(63) is connected to the data line. A pixel electrode(PE) is formed in a pixel region(P). The gate line and the data line are connected to the pixel electrode through a thin film transistor(TFT). The width of the gate pad is the same as an interval between the data pads or less.
