DEVICE FOR STOPPING REEL IN CASSETTE DECK

PURPOSE: A stopping device for a reel in a cassette deck is provided to fix reel gears at a stopped state of the cassette deck for preventing slacked state of a tape. CONSTITUTION: At a stopped state of a deck, a locking arm(180) in the deck is elevated for fixing reel gears(120). The locking arm is contacted to outer circumference of a cam(160) contacted with a head base. A protrusion(170) is formed on the cam for being contacted with the locking arm. Therefore, a contacting protrusion of the locking arm is elevated by the protrusion of the cam. Moreover, guide bars(190) at both sides of the locking arm are elevated for a hook unit(200) on the guide bars to contact with the reel gears. Therefore, the reel gears are stopped.
