PURPOSE: A checking tool for a fire detector is provided to precisely check the fire detector through supplying heating instrument applying heat in a state maintaining a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION: A lamp (12) is combined with a socket through an upper portion of a housing (10). A reflecting instrument is installed on an inner wall of the housing. Temperature control instruments are installed in a lower portion of the housing for controlling the lamp according to a signal received from a temperature sensor (14) on the inner wall of the housing. The housing and a support rod (30) are combined by a combining tool (20). Herein, the combining tool contains two elastic pieces (22) having uneven units (24) inserted to a groove (16) on a lower surface of the housing. In inserting the elastic pieces to the groove, the housing combining tool is inserted to an upper end of the support rod between the elastic pieces. Herein, sectional shape of the support rod is formed in a polygon.
