PACKING MATERIAL FOR WOOL PACK AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process for preparing packing material for wool pack improved in waterproof properties and ink-smudge resistance by coating waterproof resin on fabrics weaved with air-texturing processed yarn or fabrics having a binder resin layer is provided. Whereby, the packing material is excellent in basic physical properties of a wool pack and useful as packing material of scouring wool. CONSTITUTION: This packing material is weaved with polyamide-based multifilaments having a total fineness of 630 to 1,890 denier, formed by a waterproof resin layer or a waterproof resin layer and binder resin layer and has the following physical properties: a waterproof pressure of 3,000mm/H2O or more as measured according to ISO 811; and a surface friction coefficient of 2.5 to 8,0N as measured according to Australian wool pack standard no. 3 2. 5.
