PURPOSE: A terminal system used as a GPS and a beacon is provided to regain a lost vehicle by easily grasping position of the terminal system if a personal portable communication equipment is broke from the terminal system. CONSTITUTION: A terminal system used as a GPS and a beacon includes a GPS receiving antenna(11) receiving a GPS source signal from an artificial satellite, a beacon transmitting-receiving part(15) generating a specific peculiar code sign as a short distance communication signal for transmitting the same to a control center, and receiving control data from the control center, and a control part(17) processing the signals transmitted and received from a GPS transmitting antenna part and the beacon transmitting-receiving part with individual transmitting and receiving protocols and outputting position data of a moving body to a personal portable communication equipment(19).
