PURPOSE: An epoxy mortar and a water-proofing method by using the same are provided for preventing shrinkage and crack by improving tensile strength of the epoxy mortar by mixing aqueous epoxy water-proofing agent, cement and quartz sand and further adding polypropylene fiber. CONSTITUTION: The water-proofing epoxy mortar for preventing shrinkage and crack of the water-proofing agent comprises (A) an epoxy water-proofing agent comprising (a) an epoxy resin mixture consisting of 65-70 weight parts of epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 184-194, a viscosity of 11,000-14,000 cps; 0.2-1 weight parts of methyl cellulose; 2-5 weight parts of emulsifying agent; 0.5-2 weight parts of defoaming agent; and 22.2-32.3 weight parts of water; (b) polyamide consisting of 25-33 weight parts of low-viscosity polyamide having a viscosity of 2,500-4,500 cps, 2-4 acid values, 90-110 equivalent of activated hydrogen; 0.2-1 weight parts of defoaming agent, 0.5-1.5 weight parts of emulsifying agent; 62.5-74.3 weight parts of water; (B) 1.5-2 times cement for the epoxy water-proofing agent; and (C) 3-3.5 times quartz sand for the epoxy water-proofing agent. |
