PURPOSE: A device for removing floating swarf is provided to remove swarf floating in a filter tank during a grinder operation without pumping a large amount of coolant oil inside the filter tank. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing floating swarf includes an X-shaped frame(1) mounted by a guide pinion(19) fixed on a wall surface of a filter tank(57) and a rack(20) of a lower portion of an inclined frame, a cylinder(18) connected to a lower end of the X-shaped frame for moving the frame vertically, a swarf conveying part, a swarf collecting part, and a swarf removing part. The swarf conveying part has two rotating shafts mounted at both ends of the X-shaped inclined frame, a chain rotating on the circumference of the two rotating shafts, a filter(8) and a swarf moving push rod(26) rotating with the rotating shafts by the chain, and a driving motor for rotating the chain. The swarf collecting part has a third rotating shaft(30) rotatably mounted at an end of an X-shaped horizontal frame of a lower end of the filter, at least one or more swarf moving wings(32) mounted on the frame of the rotating shaft, and a driving motor rotating the rotating shaft. The swarf removing part has a screw(2) mounted at an end of the X-shaped horizontal frame of an upper end of the filter form moving swarf to an inlet(34) and a driving motor for rotating the screw. |
