PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display panel assembly having a module for determining an approval time point of a driving signal, and a driving method of the liquid crystal display panel assembly are provided to eliminate a gate printed circuit board, and to prevent the delay of the driving signal and the phenomenon of screen division. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display panel assembly(300) comprises a printed circuit board(310), a liquid crystal display panel(350), a data driving signal apply module(320), and a gate driving signal approval module(330). The gate driving signal approval module consists of a flexible base board, a data driving signal input line, a gate driving integrated circuit for linearly transforming a gate driving signal sending from a first gate line of a TFT board(352) to a last gate line, and a gate driving signal output line to allow the gate driving signal of linear level to be applied to the gate lines. According to the driving method of the liquid crystal display panel assembly, the level of a turn-off signal, for holding a thin film transistor of the liquid crystal display panel in a turn-off state, among the gate driving signals produced in the printed circuit board is applied to many gate lines so that the level is linearly varied. Then, corresponding data signals are applied to data lines formed in the liquid crystal display panel. Finally, the turn-off signal is applied to a selected gate line for a specific time. |
