PURPOSE: A method for cooling various kinds of drinks or nonalcoholic beverages by adding an endothermic compound to the drinks is provided to keep drinks of room temperature cool without affecting the original taste of the drinks. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by installing a simple device in a drink can for holding an endothermic compound of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate therein and discharging the compound into the drink when the can is opened or directly adding the compound to the drink to be reacted with each other. The drink reacted with the endothermic compound is between 6.5 and 7.5 of pH.
