PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing pigment resistant to mutation and produced by Bacillus. The pigment has such various characteristics such as resistance to tumor and oxidation, and activity of cell proliferation. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing pigment showing resistance to mutation in a high yield is characterized by the following steps of: i) cultivating Bacillus sp. SSA3 (KCTC 8488) obtained from traditional soy sauce in medium containing 0.03-0.3% of tyrosine at 25-30 deg.C at pH 4-9 for 20 days; and ii) separating and purifying pigment from the medium through thin layer chromatography (TLC). The composition of solvent used in the purification is n-butanol:ethanol:water (3:2:3) and n-propanol:25% NH4OH:water (6:3:1).
