WEB-BASED OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF HOME LOCATION REGISTER SYSTEM OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A web-based operation and maintenance management apparatus and a method of a home location register system of a mobile communication system are provided to connect a remote terminal to an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) of an HLR(Home Location Register) system and perform an operation and maintenance of the HRL system without using an emulating program in a remote terminal. CONSTITUTION: An OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor)(200) performs an operation and maintenance of an HLR(Home Location Register) system. The OMP(200) is connected with web-based remote terminals(410-460) based on a wire manner. The remote terminals(410-460) include a web browser and are connected with the OMP(200) using the web browser, so that a certain command performed by the OMP(200) is inputted. The remote terminals(410-460) download a real time error and state-related information processed by the OMP(200). Namely, in case that a personal computer is used with respect to each remote terminal(410-460), it is not needed to install a X-window program in each terminal. The OMP(200) includes a home page connected using the web browser and includes a UIM process(220). The OMP(200) is connected with an HLP(Home Location Processor) through an Ethernet. The HLP(100) and the OMP(200) are elements of the HLR system of a mobile communication system.
