摘要

PURPOSE: A method for producing polystyrene foam resin is provided for enhancing surface polishing effect and compression strength enough to apply it to various fields by comprising specific quaternary ammonium salt, benzoguanamine and polyethylene wax. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing polystyrene foam resin useful for improving surface polishing effect and compression strength comprises suspending and polymerizing styrene monomer and adding quaternary ammonium salt, benzoguanamine and polyethylene wax as a controlling agent of foam generation. The styrene monomer is selected from a group consisting of styrene monomer, acrylonitrile containing the styrene monomer as a main component and a combination of styrene monomer and alpha-methylstyrene monomer.
