摘要 PURPOSE: An electric current limit algorithm of a linear compressor is provided to reduce the size of a motor by applying an electric current limit algorithm to an overload. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer checks generation of an electric current limit if the temperature of external air is higher than 37deg.C. At an overload, an electric current limit of 2.2A per 1/60sec is generated from a refrigerator. In no generation of an electric current limit, a 1min electric current limit flag is set as 0 and time starts to be counted. In 1min, the 1min is saved in a count and the stroke command is compared with the top limit of 20mm. If the stroke command is larger than 20mm, the stroke command is set as 20mm. Otherwise, the stroke is increased about 0.2mm up to the top limit. If the electric current limit is generated, the 1min electric current limit flag is set as 1. Then, the stroke command is compared with the bottom limit of 18mm. If the stroke command is larger than 18mm, the stroke command is decreased about 0.2mm to the bottom limit. The stroke is run at 20mm in generation of an electric current limit or at 18mm by reduction of 0.2mm per 1/60sec. The stroke of a piston is operated between the bottom limit of 18mm and the top limit of 20mm to prevent an overload.
