METHOD FOR RECONFIRMING DESTINATION NUMBER IN INTELLIGENT NETWORK EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method for reconfirming a destination number in an intelligent network exchange is provided to improve the reliability of a call connection by enabling an origination subscriber to reconfirm the input number. CONSTITUTION: If an intelligent network service call request signal is input, a play announce report command to transmit a play announce message corresponding to the call request signal is transmitted to an intelligent peripheral(201-206). The play announce message notifying to input a password to an origination subscriber is transmitted to the origination subscriber according to the play announce report command(207). If the origination subscriber inputs the password in response to the password input message, it is judged whether the input password and the preliminarily stored password are coincident(208-209). If the passwords are coincident, a guide message notifying the reconfirmation of the destination number is transmitted to the origination subscriber(211-212). If the destination subscriber inputs digit in response to the destination number reconfirmation message, a play announce message to the digit is transmitted to the destination subscriber(213-214). A call is connected between the destination subscriber and the origination subscriber.
