发明名称 CALL PAGING METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE: A call paging method in a mobile communication system is provided to reduce an overload to paging accounting for most portion of a mobile communication system and improve a performance of the whole system by registering a regular mobile subscriber from a statistics for a location registration of a destination terminal subscriber and primarily paging by using an adjacent base station sets of high probability and a base station of high probability. CONSTITUTION: Statistics on a location registration of a mobile communication subscriber is collected by time zones for a statistics performing term(S1). A subscriber located in a base station within a specific adjacent base station set by constant time zones is registered as a regular mobility subscriber in a location register(S2), and the specific adjacent base station set and a base station are registered as an adjacent base station set of a high probability and a base station of a high probability by constant time zones(S3). The mobile communication system receives a mobile destination call from the mobile communication subscriber and initiates a destination connection processing(S4). It is checked whether the corresponding destination subscriber is the registered regular mobility subscriber(S5). If the destination subscriber is the registered regular mobility subscriber, the location information of the destination subscriber is read to check whether it is identical to the information of the registered adjacent base station set of high probability(S6). If the read location information of the destination subscriber and the registered adjacent base station set of high probability are identical to each other, it is checked whether the destination subscriber is in an idle state(S7), and paging is firstly attempted to the registered base station of high probability(S8). If the destination subscriber is not the regular mobility subscriber(S5) or the location information of the destination subscriber is not identical to the information of the adjacent base station set of high probability(S6), it is checked whether the destination subscriber is in an idle state(S9), and first paging is attempted to the base station of the adjacent base station set on the basis of location information(S10). If there is no answer to the first paging(S11), paging is secondly attempted to a different adjacent base station set containing the adjacent base station set where a location registration has occurred lately from the location register(S12).
