A magazine slide projector 1 has a slide editing device wherein two adjacent slides are pushed up from magazine 2 by members 4 and 7, one to the level of the projector optical axis A-A' and the other, which is the next due for projection, to the optical axis B-B' of an auxiliary optical system for pre-viewing in window 12. The push-up members 4 and 7 are mounted on a frame which reciprocates vertically under the action of an arm (15), Fig.4A (not shown), pivoted to the projector housing at (20) and having two arcuate portions (16, 16') and slots (17, 17') engaged successively by an eccentric pin (14) on rotating disc (13). Magazine 2 is indexed forward during the down stroke. The auxiliary optical system comprises lamp 10 and roof prism 11 by which the inverted slides 3 are optically inverted laterally and vertically for viewing in window 12. |
