PURPOSE: A mattress assembly is provided to control stiffness properly according to loading pressure affecting on the surface of a mattress and to prevent surging or bouncing by absorbing loading pressure by resisting force exceeding air pressure and the compressive force of a buffer member. CONSTITUTION: A mattress assembly comprises; a cloth bag(15) forming a regular space to the inside by connecting a side sheet(13) between a rectangular upper sheet(12) and a rectangular lower sheet(14); a base(22) facing to the reverse side in the nearly same size as the lower sheet; and a core(20) fixed to the base and provided with many shock absorbers(21) absorbing impacts and loads affecting on the surface of the upper sheet by resisting force exceeding air pressure and the compressive force of a buffer member, wherein the shock absorbers are closely arranged to be in rectangular shape located on a common plane.
