PURPOSE: A nail coloring agent obtained by mixing garden balsam with alum or salt and ageing at low temperature for about 10 days is provided, which can tint nails with red polish within a short time and be used through all seasons when stored in a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: This nail coloring agent is prepared by the process consisting of: collecting leaves and flowers of a garden balsam; drying the garden balsam in the shade; mixing a coloring device such as alum or salt in a weight ratio of garden balsam to coloring device of 70:1 and kneading; ageing at 4deg.C or less for about 10 days.
