REMOVAL METHOD OF ORGANIC MATTER CONTAINED IN ZN-CR PLATING WASTEWATER

PURPOSE: A removal method of organic matter contained in Zn-Cr plating wastewater is provided, which can decompose ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) contained in Zr-Cr plating wastewater and remove organic matter effectively. The method can also diminish sludge generation compared with the conventional methods of chemical oxidation and coagulation settling. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises as follows: (i) treat wastewater using a micro filter membrane having pores of 0.001-0.2micrometer in diameter and capable of back washing at pressure of 2-4Kg per square cm, the wastewater being flowing at a rate of 16-18L/min.; and (ii) treat the wastewater that passed the micro filter membrane by a reverse osmosis membrane having pores of less than 10angstrom in diameter at a pressure of 16-18Kg per square cm for removing organic matter contained in Zn-Cr plating wastewater.
