PURPOSE: A moisture infiltration preventing apparatus is provided to be capable of effectively preventing moisture infiltration at a connection portion. CONSTITUTION: A main housing(10) of a stopper shape is inserted in both ends of a tube cable. A fiber bundle receiving groove(13) is punched in a length direction at a center of the main housing(10). A fiber bundle inserting part(14) is incised between an outer circumference of the main housing(10) and the fiber bundle receiving groove(13). The main housing(10) is made of a super absorbent material and consists of a cylindric tube insertion part(11) inserted in the tube cable and a tube latch part(12) for making the tube insertion part(11) not put in the tube cable. A diameter of the tube latch part(12) is more than that of the cylindric tube insertion part(11). The main housing has an inclined portion(17), and a protrusion portion(16) is formed at a boundary of the tube insertion part and the tube latch part.
