PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing Internet call for an Internet PPP service in an exchanging system are provided to perform Internet call process for the Internet PPP service within the corresponding exchanging system, thereby directly providing various Internet services to subscribers. CONSTITUTION: An IP(Internet Protocol) address database(39) stores an IP address by the company to process an Internet call requesting an Internet PPP(Point-to-Point Protocol) service. An IP address management part(37) processes a command related to the IP address by the company input from an operation terminal for registering, canceling, changing and outputting IP address by the company of the IP address database(39). An IP address control part(38) searches the IP address database(39) for assigning or releasing the IP address to process the Internet call requesting the Internet PPP service. An Internet matching part(31) receives the IP address assigned from the IP address control part(38) for occupying an Internet circuit for connecting to the Internet, and releases the Internet circuit with returning the assigned IP address when the Internet call is terminated.
