PURIFICATION PROCESS OF COKES GAS BY USING COOLING METHOD

PURPOSE: A cooling method of cokes gas is provided to secondly cool cokes gas and to improve the removal efficiency of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia or hydrogen cyanide by suitably controlling the temperature of hydrogen sulfide and/or ammonia absorption towers. CONSTITUTION: The cooling method of cokes gas for cooling cokes gas and improving the removal efficiency of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia or hydrogen cyanide comprises cokes cooling process; non-water containing tar separation process; electrical dust-collection process; hydrogen sulfide absorption process; ammonia absorption process; light oil absorption process; ammonia distillation process; light oil distillation process and Claus process. The cooling method is carried out by cooling the cokes gas within a gas capturing pipe (1) to about 80 deg.C; cooling the gas within a gas cooler (3) to about 30 deg.C; and then re-cooling the gas inside the secondary gas cooler (21) to capture naphthalene, tar and light oil among the cokes oven gas as the absorbed state in the absorption oil.
