PURPOSE: A remote controller receiving apparatus and a control method of the same are provided to automatically set a margin corresponding to each pulse by providing an upper and lower critical value memory of a remote controller pulse margin and a controller capable of controlling a remote control signal using the upper and lower critical values. CONSTITUTION: A full signal amplifier(110) receives a signal(OA) of a remote controller(100) and amplifies into a certain level. A filter(120) removes a noise included in an output signal(OB) of the full signal amplifier(110). A microcomputer(130) receives an output signal(OC) of the filter(120) and computes an average margin of the remote controller signal and judges the operation corresponding to the remote controller signal. The microcomputer(130) includes an input signal processor(131) for generating an interrupt in a rising and falling edge of the output signal(OC) of the filter(120), a timer(132) for counting the interval of the interrupt of the input signal processing unit(131), a controller(135) for comparing the intervals of the average upper and lower critical values and the interrupt of the timer(132), and a remote controller operation unit(136) for performing a certain operation based on the signal from the controller(135).
