摘要 PURPOSE: A method for separating and recovering iron ions and nickel ions is provided which has a simple process, can separate the iron and nickel in a high purity and reduces the wastewater treatment cost. CONSTITUTION: The method for separating and recovering iron and nickel comprises the steps of preparing a mixed acid aqueous solution containing 20 to 60 wt.% of iron and nickel salts by dissolving a mixture of iron chloride and nickel chloride into a mixed acid having 70 mol% or more of a chloric acid content; oxidizing bivalent iron ions in the mixed acid aqueous solution to trivalent iron ions by oxidation treating the prepared mixed acid aqueous solution; extracting salts of the trivalent iron ions from the oxidation treated mixed acid aqueous solution using an alcohol having carbon numbers of 5 to 20; and reverse extracting salts of the trivalent iron ions from the alcohol from which salts of the trivalent iron ions are extracted using water. The method comprises the steps of preparing a mixed acid aqueous solution containing 20 to 60 wt.% of iron and nickel salts by dissolving an iron-nickel alloy ingot into a mixed acid having 70 mol% or more of a chloric acid content; oxidizing bivalent iron ions in the mixed acid aqueous solution to trivalent iron ions by oxidation treating the prepared mixed acid aqueous solution; extracting salts of the trivalent iron ions from the oxidation treated mixed acid aqueous solution using an alcohol having carbon numbers of 5 to 20; and reverse extracting salts of the trivalent iron ions from the alcohol from which salts of the trivalent iron ions are extracted using water.
