PURPOSE: An automatic control system of a water treatment facility is provided, which can control through monitors and key boards at a control room without any supervision and operation at field the whole situation for operation of pumps, valves, electrical facility, instrumentation, flow meters, level gauges, water quality detectors, air flow meter, wind gauge, pressure gauges and temperature gauges, thereby saving man power and time. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a central control room (10) which consists of a COS (12) that understands field situation and detection through monitors (11), an EWS (12) that is in charge of various softwares and programs, a H/C (13) for outputting tendency detect that is expressed by multi colors through printer and process monitoring, an alarm part (14) for outputting alarm and its own software and system hardware alarm, a master PLC (15) that communicates with the COS (12), modems (16) for transferring data to the master PLC (15), selector switches (17) for telephone and communication and line arresters (18) for protecting brain surge coming from field through telephone line; and (ii) a field control station (20) which consists of line arresters (21) that is connected to exclusive channel, selector switches (22), modems (23), many slave PLCs (24), starters (25) that is controlled and is detected by the slave PLCs (24).
