PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING INSECT-PROTECTION FILM

PURPOSE: A process for manufacturing insect-protection film is provided for preventing smell induction caused from volatile insecticides and reduction of insect-protection effect by using a specific master batch composed of polymer porous foam carrying the volatile insecticides. CONSTITUTION: The process for manufacturing insect-protection film to prevent smell induced from volatile insecticide and reduction of the protection effect comprises providing the volatile insecticide into polymer based porous foam at determined temperature less than its boiling point to form a master batch; and dry-mixing the batch together with polyolefine resin to form film. The insecticide is selected from Chlorpyrifos, Permethrin, pasture solution or tar and content thereof amounts to 0.1-80 wt.% based total weight of the master batch. The polymer based porous foam has a micro opening cell structure having a particle size of 0.1-20 micrometers.
